Amino Acid Guide

Amino acids are the "foundation" of health, the "biological Lego blocks".
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, and proteins are the building blocks of your entire body. Imagine a protein (e.g., a muscle, hair, or enzyme) as a finished wall. Amino acids are individual bricks. If even one of the EAA (exogenous amino acids) is missing, construction grinds to a halt.

🧬

WHAT DO THEY DO FOR THE BODY?

Amino acids are divided into:
Exogenous (essential ) – we must provide it through our diet
Endogenous – the body produces them
Conditionally necessary – needed especially in times of stress, illness, and training.

I. ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS
They should be supplied through food or supplements.

BCAAs are a subgroup of EAAs (3 of 9 amino acids) Branched-Chain Amino Acids .

EAA - Essential Amino Acids - they include:

Leucine (BCAA)
Action:
  • builds muscle
  • protects against decay
  • accelerates regeneration
  • supports metabolism
  • Important for athletes and people 40+
Isoleucine (BCAA)
Action:
  • increases energy
  • regulates sugar levels
  • supports endurance
  • good for fatigue
Valine (BCAA)
Action:
  • supports regeneration
  • reduces fatigue
  • supports the nervous system
Lysine
Action:
  • strengthens immunity
  • helps with herpes
  • supports collagen production
  • bone health
  • Very important for the skin
Methionine
Action:
  • supports liver detoxification
  • protects cells
  • improves the condition of hair
  • Helps with skin problems
Phenylalanine
Action:
  • improves concentration
  • supports the production of dopamine
  • improves mood
Threonine
Action:
  • supports immunity
  • gut health
  • tissue regeneration
Tryptophan
Action:
  • improves sleep
  • reduces stress
  • supports the production of serotonin
  • improves mood
  • A natural "anti-stress" compound
Histidine
Action:
  • histamine production
  • tissue regeneration
  • skin health
II. ENDOGENOUS AMINO ACIDS (THE BODY PRODUCES THEM)

Alanine
Action:
  • regulates sugar levels
  • supports energy
  • protects muscles
Asparagine
Action:

supports the nervous system

  • improves concentration
Aspartic acid
Action:
  • increases endurance
  • supports the production of hormones
Glutamic acid
Action:
  • main neurotransmitter
  • supports memory
  • supports concentration
Glycine
Action:
  • calms down
  • improves sleep
  • supports collagen
  • skin regeneration
  • important for beauty
Proline
Action:
  • collagen structure
  • joint health
  • supports skin health
Seryna
Action:
  • supports memory
  • nervous system
  • brain functions
III. CONDITIONALLY ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS

Needed especially in case of stress, illness, training.

Glutamine
Action:
  • gut health
  • resistance
  • regeneration
  • stress reduction
  • popular in supplements
Arginine
Action:
  • improves circulation
  • supports the heart
  • increases efficiency
  • supports libido
Cysteine
Action:
  • strong antioxidant
  • healthy hair
  • skin
  • resistance
  • supports the production of glutathione
Tyrosine
Action:
  • reduces stress
  • improves concentration
  • supports the thyroid gland
SUMMARY – WHY ARE AMINO ACIDS SO IMPORTANT?

Without amino acids, the body cannot :
- build muscle
- produce hormones
- regenerate the skin
- defend against infections
- function well mentally

The most important benefits of supplementation:
✔ more energy
✔ better immunity
✔ healthier skin and hair
✔ better sleep
✔ faster regeneration
✔ better concentration
